Thus catching an 8.5metre beauty on camera. (which as large as it seems is still quite small for a giant squid, which can grow up to 25 metres.) This desperate battle lasted for about four-hours, and culminated in this monster losing a tentacled limb. (which clung to the desks-like a crazy suckered thing).
